Greywacke - Marlborough Wine and Food Festival
Named after New Zealand’s prolific bedrock, Greywacke (pron. Greywacky) is the personal venture of Kevin Judd, one of Marlborough’s pioneer winemakers. Sourcing prime fruit from mature vineyards within the central Wairau and Southern Valleys, the Greywacke team uses low-intervention winemaking to create wines hallmarked by their concentration and individuality. The Greywacke range is primarily based on sauvignon blanc and pinot noir, the sauvignon blanc being produced in two distinctly different styles. In addition to this core range, there are limited edition releases of chardonnay, pinot gris and riesling. Kevin’s signature vineyard photographs provide the unmistakable identity of the Greywacke range.
