My name is Peter Koller. I am originally from Appenzell, Switzerland and have lived in Blenheim since November 2012. A Butcher and a Chef, I completed my apprenticeships in St. Gallen and St Moritz in Switzerland. I spent a year in Lake Louise, Canada, before fulfilling my lifelong dream of living and working in New Zealand. As a Chef at Hans Herzog Estate, I experimented with various dried meats, which is my specialty. As these were really appreciated by guests and staff alike, it started me thinking about opening my own Swiss Butchery in Blenheim. My whole butchery is equipped with authentic Swiss machines to produce the finest quality meats and small goods. All my products are gluten and MSG free. I value products without “chemical ingredients” and of high quality production. I use all New Zealand grown and supplied product - fresh and of the highest standard every step of the way.
