Bus Information

Buses are provided all day from town to the festival site, please see below the 2011 schedule and ticket information from Blenheim, Renwick and Picton.

A shuttle bus is provided, free of charge, from the festival car park to the front entrance throughout the day.

 

FROM BLENHEIM TO THE MARLBOROUGH WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL 

Bus transport to the Wine Festival commences from 10.00am until 2.00pm from the following Bus Stops: KFC (Grove Road), Seymour Square, Springlands (Ariki Industries, 103 Middle Renwick Rd), Alana Place and Redwoodtown Countdown.  Tickets can be purchased from the Bus Stops before boarding the bus – tickets are $15.00 return.  There will be a special departure from the “Blenheim South Motels” at 9.45am & 10.15am.  This will start at The Peppertree and make its way into Blenheim along Main Street – the last pick up point will be opposite Koanui Back Packers.  Tickets can be purchased on the Bus on the day and are $15.00 return (no one way tickets to the Wine Festival available). 

 

FROM THE WINE FESTIVAL TO BLENHEIM

Bus Transport from the Wine Festival will operate at regular intervals from 3.00pm until the end of the event.  For those who do not have a Return Bus Ticket, a One Way Ticket from the Wine Festival can be purchased at the Festival for $10.00.  There will be NO special departure from the Festival back to the Blenheim South Motels – passengers will need to take one of the buses travelling back to Blenheim (ie Seymour Square, Springlands, KFC etc). 

** Passengers could experience delays in leaving the festival site at the end of the event - every endeavor will be made to clear passengers as soon as possible however delays of between 60 and 90 minutes could occur at the conclusion of the festival.**

 

FROM RENWICK TO THE WINE FESTIVAL

Tickets are available on the day from the Driver.  The return fare is $15.00. 10.00am, 10.30am, 11.00am, 11.30am & 12.00pm only from Renwick Supervalue (no one way tickets to the Wine Festival available). 

 

FROM THE WINE FESTIVAL TO RENWICK

Coaches from the festival back to Renwick will depart at regular intervals (approx every 30 minutes) from 3.00pm until the end of the event. For those who do not have a Return Bus Ticket, a One Way Ticket from the Wine Festival can be purchased at the Festival for $10.00.

Sounds Connection Buses

FROM PICTON TO FESTIVAL RETURN

Sounds Connection are the organisers of return bus travel between Picton and Blenheim.

Departure times from Picton: 9.30am, 10.30am and 12.15pm Pick-up point will be advised at time of booking.
